The 4thCollege Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Achievements Exhibition and Theme Forum of HNU is held at the National Supercomputing Center in Changsha between December 5 and 15, 2019.
HNU leaders Deng Wei, Duan Xianzhong, Yu Xiangcheng, and Li Shutao were present.
The theme is “Original Aspiration, Mission, and Innovation for a Better Future”. A themed forum, an innovation and entrepreneurship achievements exhibition, and “Lushan Maker Cup” college students innovation and entrepreneurship competition will be held.

The School of Design, College of Electrical and Information Engineering, School of Physics and Electronic, and Business School shared their views on innovation practices,innovation and entrepreneurship course development, innovation method teaching, integration of competition and innovation, and integration of professionalspecialty and innovation.
A total of 165 college students innovation and entrepreneurship training programs, 62 discipline and innovation & entrepreneurship competitions, 5 entrepreneurial firms set up by students, 4 innovation and entrepreneurship base achievements, and 11 innovation and entrepreneurship education achievements of colleges were presented at the achievement exhibition.
On December 5, the 2nd“Lushan Makers Cup” College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held. Eleven teams from five universities, including HNU and Hunan Normal University, participated. HNU’s team won first prize with their project “magnetic damping – a new energy dissipation andvibration reduction technology”.
The event was hosted by the Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center of the Department of Academic Affairs, the Communist Youth League HNU Committee, School of Graduates, Office of Student Affairs, Office of Postgraduate Student Affairs, and Office of Recruitment and Student Career Center; and, organized by the College of Civil Engineering, College of Electrical and Information Engineering, and National Supercomputing Center in Changsha.
