In order to improve teaching quality and achieve our training goals, Hunan University has established – and is constantly working to improve - the Teaching Quality Assurance System. The System is in charge of setting teaching quality standards and measures of teaching quality management, regularly evaluating teaching quality and curricula, and providing feedback to teachers, departments, laboratories, colleges, and the university at large. It is also responsible for putting forward proposals for teaching reform; supervising proposal implementation; carrying out the "Three Evaluations", namely, evaluations of teaching, learning and management; implementing activities related to college and teacher assessment; organize teacher training and rewarding; and forming a close-loop of information collection, analyses, feedback and adjustment to emphasize the fundamental role of undergraduate education and enhance teaching quality.
