HNU Vice President Wang Weibin led a delegation to Tanzania, Kenya and Egypt in recent days. The delegation visited theUniversity of Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania,the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of Zanzibar,theState University of Zanzibar, the Africa Policy Institute in Kenya, andCairo University. Relevant personnel from HNU's Center of International Studies, School of Public Administration, and School of Economics and Trade, as well as the China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Research Institute (CAETCRI), were present.

The delegation visited local universities and think tanks and had in-depth discussions concerning international students in China, establishment of the overseas offices of CAETCRI, research cooperation of HNU's School of Public Administration and School of Economics and Trade with African partners, and talent cultivation, think tank cooperation and policy research. The delegation also signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) on behalf of HNU and CAETCRI with theUniversity of Dar-es-Salaam of Tanzania and the Africa Policy Institute in Kenya.

The delegation also visited theChinese Embassy in Egypt and some China-invested enterprises in Africa, and met with representatives of Chinese students and HNU alumni.
