The Innovation-driven Development Strategy and Consulting Center jointly founded by HNU and the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) Strategic Consulting Center on September 30, 2018. It also marked the launching of HNU’s Intelligent Vehicle Stream collaborative innovation project.

CAE Vice President Zhong Zhihua, CAE Strategy Consulting Center Assistant Director Yan Jianlin, and representatives from Tongji University, Tsinghua University, and related enterprises attended the launching ceremony. HNU President Duan Xianzhong, and Assistant President Li Shutao were present.

The project combines automatic drive, new energy, and mobile internet technologies, to develop an intelligent vehicle stream system, which is composed of three sub-systems – cloud-dispatching and control, ground communication, and smart mobile space. The system mainly serves public traffic through collaborative optimization and new energy use in public traffic dispatching and infrastructure, to realize intelligent, low-carbon, customized transportation, and push forward the development of new energy vehicles and smart car technologies, disciplines, and industry.

HNU reached cooperation framework agreements with the CAE Strategic Consulting Center and the China Technology Financial Leasing Co., Ltd.; and, signed an Intelligent Vehicle Stream Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Tongji University, Tsinghua University, Chongqing Co-Sunjoy Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd., Huda Sunjoy Vehicle Technology & Equipment Co., Ltd., and Dexian Vehicle Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
