●课程介绍
“工程结构可靠度理论”是可靠度理论与结构分析紧密结合的研究生专业选修课程,它具有数学知识多,逻辑性强,教学内容枯燥等特点。根据该课程的特点和课程教学要求,讲授基本理论和工程案例及应用,教学方式与考核方式有沿袭和创新,强化范例教学的新思路、教学与实践相结合,最在限度激发学生的学习积极性和主动性,为学生后续专业课程学习、科研选题乃至科学研究打下坚实的基础。本课程是针对土木工程专业的研究生开设的专业技术课程,也可作为机械、电力等工程类专业研究生的选修课。
●袁贤讯教授简介
Dr. Yuan Focus on structural reliability and engineering risks, deterioration modeling and time-dependent reliability, risk-informed life-cycle infrastructure engineering and management, and public-private partnerships. At Ryerson, he developed two new graduate courses: Risk and Reliability for Engineers and Infrastructure Asset Management. Over the past five years, he completed more than 15 research grants and contracts with a total value exceeding $800,000. He has supervised and graduated 6 MASc students and 3 post-doctoral fellows. In 2015, he organized the first Innovative Delivery, Efficiency and Saving (IDEAS) symposium at Ryerson University, for which he made a keynote presentation and a concluding speech. More than seventy people from academia, industry and governments attended the symposium. Currently his research team comprising of 1 MASc, 5 PhD and 1 PDF is working on a five-year NSERC research grant on probabilistic lifecycle costing for structural integrity, resilience, and project delivery efficiency, as well as a number of industrial research contracts.
