Course Introduction

This course is an optional course for majors such as digital media art. The course, as a comprehensive one requires both designing and programming, prerequisites include Advanced mathematics, Program design, 3D Model design and etc.

The contents of course mainly include the basic theory of game design, Unity3D based game design and development, and Virtual Reality Application development. Student are required to understand the basic theory of game design, comprehend the basic idea and structure of Unity3D, and manage the programming skill based on Unity3D.

After this course, students are expected to design and implement a game or a VR application using the learned design theories. The experimental projects involved in the course can benefit from the cooperation of students good at designing and programming.
