Course Introduction
This course is the core course of industrial design major. It is aimed at freshmen majoring in industrial design. This course takes "visual language and form" and "design history" as the leading courses.
This course mainly includes five parts: vision and perception, history of Chinese characters, Chinese character design, Western Font design, logo design and brand recognition system. The course starts with the theory of Gestalt psychology, analyzes the composition of visual image elements, enables students to obtain visual perception experience through design practice training such as graphics, fonts and logos, and combines abstract concepts with internal experience to form a set of rational visual composition methods.
