After two days of the exhibition of Printing and Binding Courses at Peach Lake Exhibition Hall, School of Design, Hunan University, it was successfully concluded on 15 December.
With the theme of ‘self-expression’, the course exhibition showcased the creative works of 2016’s students from the School of Design. Invitation letters, brochures, posters, hand-made gifts, students' creative business cards and themed videos are all included in this exhibition. A total of 11 groups participated in the exhibition, and each group found a unique angle to express themselves, which was imaginative and attracted many students to watch it. He Renke, the dean of School of Design, came to the exhibition hall to participate in the game interaction, and praised and encouraged the students' innovative spirit.

Exhibition theme and introduction of the eleven groups:
Group 1: Another me
We all wish there was another self in the world, to be loaded with many, many impossibilities and whims. One self, don't make mistakes; the other self, go out of line.
Group 2: Grow-new-hair Lab
We are still poor, still alone, but early hair loss. The grow-new-hair lab will take you on a fancy hair-growing tour.
Group 3: The darkness and light coexist in the body, facing the true self
There are two sides in our body, just like two ‘selves’, who coexistence well when peace and quiet. In times of conflict, however, what left are hysteria, no fear of darkness, facing up to yourself, and in the end, complete a real me.
Group 4: Virtual self
The ego in the virtual network is the yearning and beautification of the showing of ourselves. We can relax ourselves by it, but may also lose in it. What we need to think about is how to find the right balance between the relief and loss.
Group 5: Pressure
Life is stressful, but it is every living proof. We live our lives seriously and deserve more in return.
Group 6: With now in the past
When looking back on our happy and simple childhood,
we are not missing the lost time,
but the precious past,
has become part of now.
Group 7: Designers super power research and development center
In the process of gradually becoming a qualified designer, I have cultivated various ‘superpowers’ -- a strong body against the periodically continuous work, and the Buddha-like attitude towards the requirements of Party A. I have well mentally prepared that there is no time to socialize and fall in love, and gradually become an obsessive perfectionist.
Group 8: UNDO
From a blank sheet of paper to a palette of colors, some brilliant and some dark. Everything will be OK!
Group 9: Disease
‘With time flying, the passage of time has opened a great new chapter in the history of human civilization in the new century. In the 21st century, the CPC central committee has always attached great importance of physical and mental health to people. In recent years, all over the country have developed a mysterious strange disease. Patients always have strange behaviors, or taste weirdly, or become personality eccentric. Since its unknown etiology, this kind of strange phenomenon has caused great turmoil and serious trouble to the social security.
The expert team of our hospital conducted an in-depth discussion on this issue, and the research showed that...’
Group 10: What’s for today?
In this world of abundance, we can get everything we want easily. So many options though we have, there is no aim. Looking at the various restaurants and the beautiful pictures on the food delivery apps, we hesitate, but still have no idea of what to eat.“What’s for today?” ——maybe it’s not a complicated question…
Group 11: Smile is natural
Laughter is a simple action, but also a natural physiological response. Every laughter we have is accompanied by a series of wonderful reactions including the production of substances in our body and the changes in our organs. Discover our amazing reactions to laughter, and laugh with us freely!
