On 28th, November, 2018, the three-day "Service Design and Business Model" course assignment exhibition was successfully held in the exhibition hall of the Taozi Lake. This exhibition showcases the results of service design study on the theme of “Campus Evolution” for the Grade 2016 of the Design & Art College. The exhibition invited Liu Yutang, secretary of the Party Committee of the Academy, He Renke, Dean of the Academy, Zhao Jianghong, Chairman of the Academic Committee of the College, as well as other teachers in the college to give guidance to the students' assignment. The exhibition also attracted many teachers and students from different universities, such as Central South University, Hunan Normal University, Changsha University of Science and Technology and Central South University of Forestry Science and Technology come to visit. Everyone who closely related to campus can experience the possibility of future campus life through the exhibition.
Campus is a diverse and complex environment, containing different groups of students, teachers, faculty and staff, as well as neighboring business districts, residents and so on. From this, there are all kinds of troubles and contradictions in our daily lives. So how can we solve these problems and do something for the "evolution" of the campus?
This “Service Design and Business Model” curriculum aimed at making students discover the needs of different groups and roles in campus life, and designing innovative and realizable service system, to create a more colorful campus life. During this process, the students investigated everywhere in the campus to find problems, put forward solutions and solve problems. Eventually, 15 themes and 48 programs are presented in various forms in the exhibition.

At 9:30 a.m. on November 28, the curricular instructor, Ms. Hu Ying, presided over the opening ceremony of the exhibition, and invited guests such as Secretary Liu Yutang, Mr. Yuan Xiang and Mr. Yuan Zonghan to deliver speeches. After that, the exhibition officially began. Students enthusiastically introduced their projects to the guests who attended the exhibition, and discussed the details, functions and operability of the projects with them. In the end, everyone said that they benefited a lot from their discussions with teachers and predecessors.

Apart from the students, teachers and staff who participated in the exhibition also gained a lot. Secretary Liu Yutang said that many of the students' plans are of great practical value, and they are worth trying to be promoted in the campus. For example, “Shitu”, the campus adaptation assistant platform for freshmen, is able to meet the needs of the University in guiding freshmen to enter the school. It can be tried out next year among the freshmen.
Professor Yuan Zonghan, who is from the Ministry of Education and Works and is responsible for the management of Dezhi used bookstore, is very fond of the campus used book recycling project named "Mobiling". She said that this service is of good valve and it also has the possibility of promoting implementation since it can combine the situation of the school with the real needs of students to improve the utilization situation of second-hand books on campus. .
