    王东,博士,教授,博士生导师。1964年3月生。江西省九江市人。九三学社会员,九三学社省委委员,湖南大学九三学社副主委。1986年毕业于湖南大学计算机科学系,计算机应用专业。师从中科院计算所闵应骅教授(IEEEFollow)获得博士学位。2004年12月至2005年12月由国家留学基金委公派赴澳大利亚悉尼科技大学访学一年,从事无线网络协议性能分析研究。
    目前主要研究方向为车载网络、智能交通、网络性能测试、无线网络协议与性能分析等。主持并参与“核高基”重大专项、国家自然科学基金项目、国家863项目、国防基础科研“十一五”项目及省部级项目,主持和完成国家和湖南省自然科学基金多项。获得湖南省科学技术进步二等奖一项。湖南省优秀硕士毕业论文指导教师。联系方式:wangd@hnu.edu.cn,95534@qq.com
