付巍，男，博士，江西宜春人。现为湖南大学信息科学与工程学院副教授。对地观测是国家中长期科学和技术发展规划纲（2006-2020）重要内容之一，遥感图像是实现高效对地观测的重要途径。近年来的海量遥感图像和快速发展的智能算法为遥感图像智能处理与分析带来了新的机遇和挑战，围绕这一领域，主要从事图像处理、模式识别、人工智能及其在遥感数据获取与智能分析领域的应用研究。
