OnOctober 7thafternoon, school of Economics and Trade of Hunan University held a meeting for international students in 2022 autumn semester. Hangtian Xu (thevice dean), Zhen Cai (the international students office), AMAL AHMED MOHAMMED AL-ANESI (doctoral of the college), and international students from all over the world attended the meeting. Due to the pandemic, the meeting was held online.
On behalf of the school, Hangtian Xu welcomed the international students to join the big family of our department, and briefly introduced its history and current situation. He introduced the basic information of the international programs, the teaching modules and forms of this semester, the policy of Granting scholarships by CSC, as well as the schedule of thesis proposal and defense.
After that, Amal, shared her experience in her studies and research in China from various aspects including campus life, school system, cultural and language adaptation, course learning, etc. In the final Q&A session, students had a free exchange on school system use, tutor selection, scholarships and other issues.
Due to the impact of the epidemic, many international students still stay in their own countries, and a small number of students have come to China. We believe that everyone will study and live together on campus in the near future.
