Professor, Department of Public Finance and Taxation

Guo Ping is currently Professor at Department of Public Finance and Taxation, Hunan University School of Economics and Trade. He received a Ph.D in Economics from Research Institute for Fiscal Science in 2002. His research interests lie in Macroeconomic Theory and Policy, Economic Theory and Policy of Finance and Taxation, State-owned Capital Management Theory and Policy. He has published more than 150 academic papers.

He also serves as Director of Society of Public Finance of China, Director of Taxation Education Research Association of China, Vice President of Hunan Finance Society, Vice President of Hunan Rural Finance Research Association, Vice President of the Changsha Auditing Society of Hunan Province, Executive Director of the Hunan International Taxation Research Association, Executive Director of Hunan Provincial Non-tax Revenue Research Association, Director of Hunan Provincial Budget and Accounting Research Association, Chief Expert of Hunan Finance and Economic Development Research Center at Hunan University.
